Excellent path and a boulder field at the top.
You start at the pay and display car park, it has some nice toilets and picnic tables to use. The route from the turn off was signposted and it’s not far from Aberfeldy.
The Mountain is popular to climb due to its fine broad ridge and makes for a great day out in the wilds of Scotland, its with great gratitude that the John Muir Trust have repaired the path for all those wishing to hike.
From the car park you follow the only path out of the car park and it meanders over towards the ridge and gently climbs up the ridge. As the path Climbs up you start to see the views of Loch Tummel towards Beinn a Ghlo opening up. Below you catch a glimpse of Glenmore bothy, crossing the boulder field we reach the summit. On a clear day you see why people climb this Munro as the vista across Scotland looking west across Rannoch moor and Glencoe. The hill is well worth the effort.

You will not want to leave the summit but the path is just a return along the path you came up looking north you will have the cairngorms while ahead is Ben Vrackie and south the plains of Perthshire. A great Hill just look at those views
